Designer Nick Blum headed off to Switzerland last winter to fulfill a lifelong goal to create his own line of watches. After making his designs come to life, the “must-have” watch was born. The new watch line, Louie Quattro, is the first line of watches for BlumLux. “designing watches has always been a deep passion of mine since I was a little boy.” said Nick Blum.

The name Louie Quattro was derived from Nick’s father, Louis Franklin Blum III. The Louie Quattro was created to represent the qualities that Nick witnessed in his father: Wisdom. Integrity. The Louie Quattro collection is hand crafted in Switzerland with a 25 jewel automatic jewel ETA movement. Attention Ladies, it’s finally happened!!!  What an exciting day!!!  I have been hoping for Nick to design a women’s line since we first started BlumLux.  I’ve been dropping hints, even sketching out my wish list, but Nick has continued to just create men’s pieces. 

He definitely surprised me today… by unveiling the first women’s necklace!  Let me tell you, it is awesome!  I CAN’T wait to be wearing it!!!  Finally!!!  We get calls and emails every day for women’s pieces with the BlumLux look… this is going to make JCK so exciting!  Look for the pieces to be on the website in June!

Happy Valentine’s Day!  It’s been quite an exciting day for BlumLux!  We started off the day with a singing telegram!  The Purdue Music Organization came into the office this morning… they were sent by my mother!  Wow… was I embarrassed!!!  However, I was not shocked when I found out it was from my mother!  No worries, I’ll get her back!  Now, for our big news… IT’S FINALLY HERE!!!  We are launching our online store today!!!  We’re so excited to offer our pieces to the world!  You’ve probably noticed that our line has really expanded!  We decided to wait until the online store launched to unveil our new pieces.  We now have money clips, tie clips, and bracelets!  We also added some new pendants and rings.  Check them out and let us know what you think!  We hope you like our site!  We’ve had a great time working with Kemba and the gang to get it ready!
